Bios

Feature:

Jenny Pisani is a poet from Staten Island, New York. She recently moved back home after living and serving in Cambodia as Peace Corps volunteer. She is an educator, a poet, and a champion of flawed humanity. Her poetry is inspired by the never ending process of becoming, and the reconstruction of reality with thoughts and words.

Spotlight feature:

Renee Kroeker is a private yoga teacher and founder of Renee Kroeker Private Yoga. She has a background in theatre, social work, and elementary/special education. She taught creative movement to elementary and junior high students for ten years at a charter school in Staten Island, NY. Prior to that, Renee worked with many diverse populations in both Austin, Tx and Staten Island as a social worker for over a decade. She has always enjoyed writing, but only recently ventured into the Staten Island poetry scene and is grateful for the warm reception she has received.
