Bronx
The times listed for closures for street fairs are for the actual times of the street fairs themselves. The streets may be closed for longer to allow for set-up and breakdown. Street fair organizers are generally permitted to begin set-up at 8 am and breakdown must be completed by 7 pm.

NYC Marathon/Family Reunion

Manhattan

East 17th Street between Union Square East and Irving Place

This street will be closed from 6 am to 9 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

East 22nd Street between Lexington Avenue and 3rd Avenue

This street will be closed from 7 am to 7 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

East 24th Street between Park Avenue South and Lexington Avenue

This street will be closed Sunday from 8 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 24th Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue

This street will be closed from 6 am to 7 pm Saturday to facilitate crane operation.

East 26th Street between Lexington Avenue and 3rd Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 26th Street between 8th Avenue and 7th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

West 29th Street between 11th Avenue and Highline/10th Avenue

This street will be closed from 2 am to 11:59 am Saturday to facilitate crane operation.

West 33rd Street between Lincoln Tunnel Entrance and 9th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 12:01 am to 8 am to facilitate crane operation.

East 39th Street between 1st Avenue and Tunnel Approach Street

This street will be closed from 12:01 am to 8 am Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

East 43rd Street between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate vault reconstruction.

West 45th Street between Broadway and 6th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday and Sunday from 12:01 am to 10 am to facilitate crane operation.

West 49th Street between 12th Avenue and 11th Avenue

This street will be closed from 4 am to 7 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

East 54th Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue

This street will be closed from 7 am to 7 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

East 77th Street between Madison Avenue and Park Avenue

This street will be closed from 8 am to 6 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate crane operation.

West 87th Street between Columbus Avenue and Central Park West

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate gas main installation.

Vandam Street between 6th Avenue and Varick Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 8 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Washington Place between Mercer Street and Broadway

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Park Place between Greenwich Street and West Broadway

This street will be closed Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Mercer Street between Prince Street and West Houston Street

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Festivals, Parades and Events

Stone Street Pedestrian Mall (Daily)

The following streets will be closed through Friday November 30, 2018 from 10 am to 11 pm for Stone Street Pedestrian Mall (Daily) as permitted by the Mayor’s Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

  • Stone Street between Hanover Square and Broad Street
  • Mill Lane between Stone Street and South William Street

NYC Marathon Dash to the Finish

The following streets will be closed Saturday for NYC Marathon Dash to the Finish at the discretion of NYPD.

  • 47th Street between 1st Avenue and 2nd Avenue
  • 1st Avenue between 50th Street and 42nd Street
  • 42nd Street between 1st Avenue and 6th Avenue
  • 6th Avenue between 42nd Street and 59th Street
  • 59th Street between 6th Avenue and 5th Avenue
  • Grand Army Plaza between 59th Street and East Drive
  • East Drive between Grand Army Plaza and Center Drive
  • Center Drive between East Drive and West Drive
  • West Drive between Center Drive and 67th Street

Union Square Autumn Fair

The following streets will be closed Saturday from 10 am to 6 pm for the Union Square Autumn Fair as permitted by the Mayor’s Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

  • Broadway between 17th Street and 23rd Street

Manhattan/Brooklyn

Brooklyn Bridge

One of three lanes eastbound (Brooklyn-bound) will be closed Saturday from 6 am to 2 pm to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges maintenance.

Manhattan/Queens

Ed Koch/Queensboro Bridge

One of two lanes westbound (Manhattan-bound) on the Lower Roadway will be closed Saturday from 12:01 am to 7 am, and one of two lanes on the eastbound (Queens-bound) Lower Roadway will be closed Saturday from 1 am to 7 am, to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges deck replacement.

Brooklyn

49th Street between 9th Avenue and 10th Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 6 pm and Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Pierrepont Street between Clinton Street and Cadman Plaza West

This street will be closed Sunday from 9 am to 6 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Linwood Street between Liberty Avenue and Atlantic Avenue

This street will be closed Saturday from 8 am to 5 pm to facilitate concrete pumping operations.

McDonald Avenue between Ditmas Avenue and Avenue F

This street will be closed from 5 am to 9 pm Saturday and Sunday to facilitate MTA mainline track repairs.

Brooklyn/Queens

Metropolitan Avenue Bridge over Newtown Creek

One lane in either direction will be closed Saturdays through October 2018, from 7 am to 1 pm to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges repairs. At least one lane of traffic in each direction will be maintained at all times. Lane closures will not occur on this bridge when the Grand Street Bridge is fully closed. Only one bridge will have closures each Saturday.

Grand Street Bridge over Newtown Creek

This bridge will be fully closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic Saturdays through October 2018, from 7 am to 3 pm to facilitate NYCDOT Bridges repairs. Bridge closures will not occur when the Metropolitan Avenue Bridge has lane closures. Only one bridge will have closures each Saturday.

Queens

47th Road between 5th Street and Vernon Boulevard

This street will be closed Friday from 9 am to 3 pm to facilitate crane operation.

Middle Village Veteran’s Day Parade

The following streets will be closed Sunday from 12 pm Noon to 2 pm for Middle Village Veteran’s Day Parade as permitted by the Mayor’s Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

Formation

  • Metropolitan Avenue between 79th Street and 78th Street

Route

  • Metropolitan Avenue between 79th Street and 69th Street (Dispersal Included)

Bronx

Hutchinson River Parkway (northbound) at Exit #6 (New Haven)

One of three lanes northbound will be closed starting at 10 pm Friday, November 2, 2018, two of three lanes northbound will be closed starting at 11 pm Friday, November 2, 2018 and the northbound Hutchinson River Parkway will be fully closed at Exit #6 (New Haven) from 12:01 am to 5 am Saturday morning, November 3, 2018 to facilitate NYSDOT reconstruction of the East Third Street Bridge.

East 162nd Street between Melrose Avenue and Dead End

This street will be closed from 8 am to 5 pm Friday to facilitate crane operation.

Festivals, Parades and Events

Bronx Veteran’s Day Parade

The following streets will be closed Saturday from 12 pm Noon to 2 pm for Bronx Veteran’s Day Parade as permitted by the Mayor’s Street Activity Permit Office (SAPO).

Formation

  • Crotona Parkway between East 175th Street and East 176th Street

Route

  • Crotona Parkway between East 176th Street and East 180th Street
  • East 180th Street between Crotona Parkway and Bryant Avenue (West Farms Soldiers Cemetery)

Dispersal

  • East 180th Street between Bryant Avenue and Boston Road
