Irish and Irish-American scholars, rebels, educators, politicians and the legacies they left will be featured. Important events in Irish-American history that relate to the borough, such as “The Great Hunger,” Irish immigration, and the 19th century Quarantine Stations, will be included. This program is in support of the Tottenville Historical Society and is presented by Patricia M. Salmon. The cost is $8. Only checks and credit cards will be accepted for payment at the time of the program. Make checks payable to the Tottenville Historical Society. ADVANCE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
