Spread the love

Staten Island Zoo is proud to host our last Access Art for All event of the season! Participants can explore the entire Zoo and try Gyotaku, a traditional method of Japanese printing that was used by fishermen to record their catches. Fish replicas and mulberry paper will be used for participants to create their own prints. Artwork will be displayed in the Zoo’s events tent for the day, and will be available to pick up when the artist is ready to leave. All Zoo exhibits will open an hour early for families to explore. This event is designed to serve families affected by Autism Spectrum Disorder, but all are welcome! Ticket must be purchased in advance for early entry:
