The Mayor’s Offce of Media and Entertainment is launching a free lunchtime series, “Broadway in the Boros,” that kicks off on Friday, June 24 from noon- 1:30pm at the Staten Island Lighthouse Museum Point Plaza. The show will include extended excerpts from Broadway’s new hit musicals She Loves Me and Fiddler on the Roof, these lunchtime performances are free and open to the public.

Directions:

By Ferry… The Staten Island Ferry departs from Manhattan South Ferry/Whitehall Terminal every 30 minutes between 7:00am and 11:00pm.  It will arrive just steps from the National Lighthouse Museum Point Plaza at the St. George Terminal on Staten Island.  Travel time is approximately 25 minutes.  The service is FREE!

By Car… Do not enter the Museum’s address in a GPS! It will take you to the other side of the island!  If you are using GPS, please enter “5 Bay Street.” If you are going to use Google Maps please enter “200 The Promenade at Lighthouse Point.” As you are approaching the Ferry Terminal on Bay Street, you will see a star-studded brick wall. Turn right at the end of the wall. There will be a sign that reads “Ferry Maintenance Facility / 1 Bay Street” with do not enter signs posted. Ignore those signs. Drive down the driveway and take a sharp right before the security booth. Follow the red buoys and free parking is available in front of the Museum.  Two-hour metered parking is available on Bay Street.
